Privacy policy
I take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website and when you book a discovery call, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Who I am
This website is run by Aesthetic Strategy Co, an Australian business. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” mean Aesthetic Strategy Co. The legal name and ABN are in the footer of every page. You can reach me at hello@aestheticstrategy.com.au.
What I collect
I collect personal information in a few simple ways.
- When you book a discovery call: your name, email address, clinic name, Instagram handle, anything you tell me about what’s on your mind, and how you found me.
- When you email me: your email address, your name and the content of your message.
- When you visit the website: technical information such as the pages you view, the website you came from, your device and browser type, and your approximate location, collected through Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Why I collect it
I use your information to:
- arrange and run your discovery call, and reply to you
- send you a proposal if we both think it’s a fit
- understand how people find and use the website, so I can improve it
- meet my legal and record-keeping obligations
Marketing emails
I don’t add you to a mailing list because you booked a call. If I ever add a sign-up, such as a guide, I’ll ask you first and you’ll be able to unsubscribe at any time.
Information sent overseas
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. I choose reputable providers, but their own privacy policies also apply. Google and Netlify may store information in the United States and other countries. Plausible stores analytics data in the European Union.
Keeping your information safe
I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access to my accounts is protected, and I keep information for as long as I need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. When I no longer need it, I delete it or make it anonymous.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it, by emailing hello@aestheticstrategy.com.au. I’ll reply within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
If you’re concerned about how I’ve handled your information, please email me first and I’ll do my best to put it right. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
